DUBUQUE, IA - Colfay Pointer, a recent RTHS graduate and current Freshman at the University of Dubuque, has already enjoyed 9 first place finishes during the NCAA Indoor Track & Field season. Recently, Pointer helped the University of Dubuque win the Iowa Conference Indoor Championships. Pointer has posted the second fastest time in the 400 meters and the fastest time for a Freshman in NCAA Division III. Pointer has been named a USTFCCA Men’s Central Region Honoree in the 400 meters and holds the top indoor marks for his team in four events as a Freshman: 55M - 6.61, 400M - 49.85, 600M - 1:21.59, and 4x200M - 1:30.12.
