CHARLESTON - It was a banner day for the Rochelle Hubs boys track program, as both Colfay Pointer (400 meter dash) and the 1600 meter relay team of Donivyn Harms, Xavier Rincon, Matthew Drendel and Pointer placed second in the state on Saturday at the IHSA Track Meet. Pointer ran an impressive time of 49.51 in the 400 meter dash to claim second place, while the senior sprinter also anchored the 1600 meter relay team also finished second and set a new RTHS record with a time of 3:21.82. Rochelle's 3200 meter relay team of Harms, Drendel, Julian Hernandez and Pointer also ran in Saturday's finals and placed eighth with a time of 8:12.68.
