Lady Hub high jumper takes second at Plano sectional meet
PLANO — With her family cheering from the distance and her coaches lending their support, Teagan Meyers approached her starting position at the high jump area looking to clinch her spot in the IHSA 2A State Championship meet at Eastern Illinois University next weekend. The Rochelle Lady Hub track and field standout was one of four athletes remaining near the end of the IHSA 2A Plano Sectional high jump competition. With the bar set at 1.54 meters, Meyers confidently sprinted up to the bar, soaring over without any trouble as her coaches and family members exploded with applause.
