Rochelle group at the 2026 IHSA State Cross Country Meet, Detweiller Park, Peoria
Tyler Johnson finished 59th at the IHSA Class 2A Boys Cross Country State Final at Detweiller Park in Peoria in 15:15.6, a new Rochelle 3-mile school record. The previous record was 15:17 by Phil Ginn in 1999.
Tyler had a great race. He had some trouble passing on the turns with all the traffic, but kept competing and finished with a personal best on the biggest stage. A great day for Tyler and the Hubs!
