Location & course

Belvidere High School, 1500 East Ave, Belvidere, IL 61008 →

A flat, two-lap loop with long gradual turns at Belvidere High School (also the Black Sail Invitational course). Mile and two-mile marks are close to the finish line.

Spectators

• Parking: Belvidere HS Student Parking Lot, $5 per vehicle, cash only.
• Accessible parking: North Athletic Lot with a valid placard. Limited street parking; other District 100 lots are closed (violators may be towed).
• Stay behind fences at the start, give runners room, and stay outside painted lines and ropes.
• Limited concessions; meet apparel sold on site.
• Restrooms inside BHS and under the Funderburg Field press box.
• No changing facilities: athletes come dressed to race. Inclement weather: Auxiliary Gym.

Advancing to Sectional

In Class 2A the top six teams advance, plus the first five runners not on an advancing team. A 6th, 7th or 8th place overall finisher not on a qualifying team also advances (IHSA Cross Country Manual).

Awards: medals to the top 5 individuals; plaque to the first-place team. Results by High Mileage Timing, posted on Athletic.net after the meet.
