Location & course

Emricson Park, 1313 Kishwaukee Valley Rd, Woodstock, IL 60098 →

A hilly 3-mile course, mowed, lined and flagged throughout. The finish line is the mouth of the chute. The park is public, so the course can be run any time race week (youth football practice, 5:30–8:00 p.m. Mon–Thu, overlaps the start area).

Spectators & parking

• Admission: $10 per vehicle, cash at the gate or tickets ahead of time on GoFan.
• Two park entrances: Jackson St. and South St. Ample parking in the park; overflow at Grace Lutheran Church north of the park. Accessible parking near the finish line.
• No parking on the grass: Woodstock P.D. will ticket vehicles parked on the grass.
• Portable restrooms throughout the park. No locker rooms. Concessions to be announced.
• Sectional T-shirts listing the qualifiers sold by Lightning Graphics at the east end of Tent City.

Team camp & buses

• Team tents (“Tent City”) go north of the start line, first come, first served.
• Team packets (with box assignments) are picked up at Hilltop Pavilion on arrival.
• Buses enter at Jackson St., drop athletes near Tent City, then park at Woodstock High School until after the awards ceremony.
• Athletic trainer on site all day; water and ice at the finish; ambulance on site.

Awards & advancing to State

Medals to the top 10 runners in each race and a plaque to the first-place team.

The top 7 teams and the first 10 runners not on an advancing team advance to the IHSA State Final at Detweiller Park, Peoria.
